The goal of the game is to take as many pairs of cards as possible, and you do that by getting out your highest card of a certain suit. If you lose at any point, your opponent will be the one who starts asking for a stronger card. You should response with a card of the same suit that is a bigger number, however, if you don't have anything that beats it, you can simply discard a low card from the same or different suit if you wish. Every time you win more pairs until the cards are gone, you progress a level.
